Summary: Eli can’t help but be distracted by this new customer, and this time it’s not out of annoyance
Notes: First meeting for Eli & Felix
Eli had been watching the man over the top of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass from the moment he came in. Everything about him attracted the eye, pleased it: from the prominent nose, catty mouth, and bright, clear eyes; to the way he was packed into his clothes so mouth-wateringly perfect you’d have to be dead not to want to unwrap him.
Eli cleared his throat, shifted uncomfortably behind the counter, and raised his brows. “You looking for something particular?”
